So many exciting things happening over just the last few days. We will be doing our best to keep you up to date here on our blog and on our Facebook page with exciting news, photos etc.
First, a BIG thank you to Orange for donating some resources to include in the boxes of Hope. We can’t wait for the kids and families in Joplin to get a hold of these and use as a great way to facilitate conversation about Hope and Perseverance. If you are a parent, make sure and check out OrangeParents.
Very Important: If you are a church and you are going to be participating in Boxes of HOPE, please shoot us an email! We need to have an idea of how many volunteers we will need on June 27th at our hub for shoe box receiving. Also, spread the word to one other church! Several drops of water can make a wave, so every church counts.
If you are out of state or an individual from out of state and there is not a current drop off location near you, we are asking that you email us for the shipping address to our Distribution center in Joplin. They will need to be shipped no later than by June 27th.
In the meantime, please pray. Pray for our team, pray for churches and kids and families. We want Boxes of HOPE to not only be an incredible message and gift to the children in Joplin receiving them, but our prayer is that you, Parents and Family Leaders make this an unforgettable moment in the lives of your kids. We want kids to have this tangible way to learn how to care for others and know what it truely means to have hope and who that hope is.
